Allsands
The Holt Estate 1861 owns and operates one of Sydney’s largest sand quarries via its wholly owned subsidiary Allsands. From our location just 40 minutes South East of the CBD we have been a major supplier of various grades of construction sand to many sectors of the building industry in Sydney for over 50 years.
Holt Land Rehabilitation centre
The Holt Land Rehabilitation Centre or HLRC/Holts as it is better known throughout the construction and civil contracting industries, is responsible for the rehabilitation of the quarry at Kurnell in areas where sand extraction has been completed. The land-form is being reinstated exclusively with Virgin Excavated Natural Material (VENM) such as Clay, Shale and Sandstone that ensures the land will have capability for a range of different uses into the future.
Community
The Holt Estate 1861 and the Holt Group before that, have a long and proud history of supporting the local community in the Sutherland Shire. Through our generous contributions to the local primary and secondary schools, Bate Bay surf clubs, the Hazelhurst Gallery, the Rainbow Club, the University of Wollongong as well as a range of smaller local activities in the Kurnell area, we ensure that the Holt family continues its ongoing commitment to improving and contributing to the community in which we belong.
