The Holt Estate 1861 owns and operates one of Sydney’s largest sand quarries through its wholly owned subsidiary, Allsands. Located just 40 minutes south-east of the CBD, we have been a trusted supplier of high-quality construction sand to the Sydney building industry for over 50 years.

Our quarry produces a range of sand grades for residential, commercial, and civil infrastructure projects. With a focus on quality, reliability, and customer service, Allsands has built long-standing relationships across multiple sectors, consistently meeting the needs of builders, contractors, and landscapers.

Holt Land Rehabilitation centre

The Holt Land Rehabilitation Centre (HLRC), as it is known in the construction and civil industries, is responsible for rehabilitating the Kurnell quarry once sand extraction is complete. HLRC restores the land using Virgin Excavated Natural Material (VENM), including clay, shale, and sandstone, creating a versatile landform suitable for a variety of future uses.

The rehabilitation process follows best-practice environmental standards, including erosion control, drainage management, and soil conservation, ensuring the land is stable, safe, and sustainable. Through HLRC, The Holt Estate demonstrates its commitment to responsible quarrying and long-term land stewardship, giving previously extracted areas new potential for the future.
